Phil is the most amazing mechanic period!. He has been my mechanic for several years and I have referred many people to him. The people I referred are now his loyal customers too. Phil and P & D Automotive is probably the most honest and reliable mechanic in New York City. He always knows how to fix my car and he is very honest and reliable. Once I tried to sell a car and a buyer told me the differential was broken. I drove to Phil and told him to fix it. Phil told me the guy was lying and there was actually nothing wrong with the differential. On another occaison my muffler was broken. I took the car to another place and they replaced it. A new sound started rattling. I took the car to Phil and he told me the other place had given me the wrong part. He told me to go back and demand they give me the correct part. He would not take my money! On another occasion he realized the problem was still covered by my warranty and he told me to go to the dealer. Phil is totally trustworthy.
