Gild Hall

The Gild Hotel is a great place to han out. Their food is excellent, great location, very adequate service so i could observe. The only thing that i can improve is in decor but rest is a very great place.

We were upgraded at early check-in and had great service from the desk staff throughout our stay. Our room was large and very comfortable, and although located close to the bar on the 2nd floor we had no intrusive noise. However, there were some strange omissions in the design of our room and the amenities provided that made our stay less comfortable and convenient than it would have been otherwise. First, the minibar was extensive (and expensive) and even included a "bedroom fun" package, but there was no water boiler or coffee maker for in-room tea or coffee. The bathroom had a rippled glass wall facing into the main space in the bedroom, which meant it severely lacked privacy. There was a curtain that was clearly added after-the-fact to partially solve this problem, but the door to the bathroom wouldn't latch shut so all bathroom functions where rather uncomfortably projected through the room. Finally, the air conditioning struggled to maintain a room temperature below about 72 degrees, and our bed was variably made with either a thick duvet and a sheet or just the thick duvet, which meant that finding a comfortable temperature at night was somewhat challenging. However, in total consideration the hotel was beautifully designed and very well-priced for what it does offer, and we would happily stay again at the same price. We paid about $145/night including taxes and fees over the 4th of July weekend.

My husband and I recently stayed four nights at this wonderful hotel and I would definitely go again. Very clean, great location, and a staff that went above and beyond. We had a small water leak in our bathroom at 2:00am one morning that caused nothing but a little lost sleep and we were contacted the next day by the Manager offering to change rooms for us! He actually came to our room to discuss this in person! Gild Hall is a class act!!

My husband and I checked into the Gild Hall hotel last week we wanted to say that the greetings we got from the front desk was awesome. We never went to New York before and we met Rob at the front desk. Told us all the places to go and see he was very professional and helpful top notch. Then we met Tom the manager the next day great recommendations also very professional too. Also Max and Angel were also very helpful as well and professional. I would stay there again your staff was very professional as well as their dress attire also. The location was great to get anywhere loved it. I work in the service industry and just wanted to give the staff the recognition they deserve.

Very classy and surprisingly affordable for the area. The room had a high ceiling with a lovely lighting fixture, nice bathroom (though the toilet ran sometimes, and a stocked minibar (including an adult toy set...). The lobby had a nice vibe and the staff was very courteous. Would stay again if in the area.
