Andaz Wall Street

Best hotel downtown. Decent bar. Big rooms. Peace and quiet after 7pm. The Andaz is an ideal downtown (lower Manhattan) luxury hotel.

The rooms were very nice, and the manager was very attentive and responsive to the few problems we had. Coffee 24/7. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel has very accommodating staff. I was sent for an overnight trip in NYC for work. After taking a long redeye flight I arrived at the hotel around 8am. My company had made a mistake and not gotten me early checking. The young man at the front desk could tell I was exhausted and frustrated. Since they didn't have any standard rooms available he upgraded my room to a small suite for free. The rest of my stay was just as pleasant. Wonderful staff and beautiful hotel.

Terrible experience. Checked in and was warned that the A/C was "re-set." I was also told if I needed maintenance to show up and reset my room a/c unit it wouldn't be a problem.
Walked into my room and hit with 90+ temp. Called for maintenance 3 times.... 2 hours later... nothing.
I would suggest the Hyatt on 31st. I was just there and was a great experience.
Long story short. Don't stay here. Go to Hyatt on 31st or ANYWHERE else. Awful experience.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The valet parking attendants were very courteous when we arrived. During check in, the attendant asked us what brought us to San Diego and after we said our anniversary, she sent delicious lavender lemonade to our room to celebrate. The hotel was very cozy and clean; it maintains its historic hotel charm, but is also very modern and classy. We had dinner at Currant--great service and food there as well. I also received the free yoga DVD for checking in on yelp. We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. I highly recommend it.
