The cream puffs are really great. I've eaten at one of the locations in Tokyo and it's the same quality.

Pros:
- Great service
- Barely any wait, even with a long line
- Great food
- mochi ice cream has both unique and standard ice cream flavors to satisfy the taste-buds of each and every person
Cons:
- Food can go bad quickly if not consumed soon after purchase
- If bringing the mochis to another place, bring something to store it in, or it will melt
- Ingredients are not mentioned on the menu, so be sure to ask for what is inside, in case you have any allergies to the ingredients

I love this place, their hot chocolate is made with real chocolate. They have the cheapest price for mochi ice cream that I've seen in the city. Lastly, their cream puffs always taste great and fresh

Who would have guessed that a Japanese take on a classically French dessert would be such a magical combination? Beard Papa's cream puffs are for all intents and purposes a fantastically made pâte à choux - thick and sweet vanilla cream is injected to order into crispy pastry balls or rings. My personal favorite is the Paris-Brest eclair, which is a slightly darker-baked ring dipped in dark chocolate. The bitterness and hard shell from the chocolate provide a lot of great flavor and texture contrast in an already-amazing product.
Beard Papa also carries coffee prepared by Mud Truck - I think it's a little strong for these pastries when paired as black coffee, but when dampened by a little milk you won't be disappointed.
