Zucker's Bagels & Smoked Fish

Good quality bagels and cream cheese. Staff is friendly and quick. A small seating area, but most people order to go. My personal favorite is the "Traditional" - cream cheese, lox, tomatoes, capers and red onion on a bagel of your choice.

Terrible online ordering. It took them over an hour and a half to make it about 2 blocks. When my order finally arrived the order was incorrect. Called and they put me on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Their bagels are good, but not great to warrant all this poor service. Wont be ordering from them again.

1st of all I'm picky when I order an egg sandwich. Not even thinking this morning bcuz my brain was still defrosting. The grill man made the "Perfect" egg sandwich!!! Eggs fried, wet yolk, butter toasted everything and most importantly cheese not melted! Give that guy a raise....... $$$$$$ Happy New Year everyone.

This location needs some help. The fish are great, the bagels are okay, the room is poorly designed (no good place to stand and wait for the food, tables and chairs that make you want to leave asap, and garbage spills out of the bins), the prices are outrageous, but worst of all are the staff. No matter how clearly you order and no matter how simple your order is, they will prepare it wrong. Toasted cinnamon raisin with butter? Nope here's your untoasted plain bagel with cream cheese. "The classic" (advertised on the menu board as lox, tomato, capers, cream cheese, and red onions) hold the red onions? Nope here's your tomato and red onion with lox cream cheese. Before you defend them by claiming the orders got switched, that's not how they work. The staffer who takes the order makes the order and gives the order to you at the register. So they're only helping one person at a time. It's not efficient, but that would be okay if they were effective, which they aren't. It is as if the staff don't know the products or how they go together to make classic preparations. The cash register is another problem. Since the staffer who made the order hands it off to the customer, the cashier asks the customer what they ordered. Sometimes the cashier doesn't believe you, so they audit your order. It's painstaking annoying and easily avoidable. All this happens while several customers are crowded around the register, which is the bottleneck between the entrance/exit, order/pickup line, drink cooler, and tables. Maybe their delivery is better.

The bagels are great and they're generally accommodative to any fillers you want. Coffee is pretty standard but nothing to write home about. The line moves pretty quickly so don't let that out you off and the prices are great for the quality you get.
