I would think one of the basics of any hotel would be to make up the room and provide fresh towels. When we returned to our room after a very long day of helping our daughter move, we returned to a room that had not had its bed made and there weren't even any fresh towels. This on top of the fact that our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor when we first arrived, did not make for a very good stay to say the least. No shampoo, no hair driers, air conditioning that was either all on or all off and made the room freezing.
