Vatan in Manhattan is by far the best Indian restaurant in USA in my opinion. You'll be disappointed if you walk into the Jersey City Vatan expecting the same quality as in NY. But you have to remember the food here is muchbless expensive than the other one.

We have been regular customer here. However we ordered many times for delivery and they have taken all their time to deliver and sometimes they delivered wrong order. This time we ordered at 7:25 pm. We were confirmed they will deliver within 45 mins. However at 8:40 when we called we were told order is with driver, and they will confirm and call back. At 9:00 Pm when I called them back they gave same excuse that its with driver, the driver never shows up every time. This happened before. This time we cancelled the order and they did not even apologized.

Worst food ever. The carrot halwa and shrikand are so bad I had to call the restaurant and sent it back. Delivery took 2 hours and then to return the food the guy came 3 hrs after. Manager didn't care about the quality of food and the people who worked there are the same. Don't order from this place or get ready to ruin your day with bad food and bad service.

Nice gujju food. Decent quality and service. Some of the staff is rude. Have my doubts on consistency of taste and quality. The traditional Indian style ground seating is my favorite if you have a big group of friends.
