Every time I step into Two Red Hens, I walk out pleased.A true fan of there Brooklyn Blackout and Red Velvet Cupcakes. Always freshly made and the polite staff make the visit worth it. This is my Favorite Cupcake in the NYC Area.

Very delicious Pumpkin harvest 4" cake.
I really enjoyed it on Monday November 23rd, 2015. Around 12:30...
They were nice enough to cut me a corner of my cake and I enjoyed it on the spot with a large coffee. Better than having a cupcake. I encourage all to ask to have a piece of their cake cut in order to enjoy it at the bakery. They will be more than happy to do it. The cake was great the service better, thanks guys!!!

I love this cupcake shop. .. the cupcakes taste so authentic, rich and deliciously made. I'm an addict of two little red hens... watch out for the red velvet, Brooklyn black out, coconut cream and the banana pb...#orgazmiccupcakes! Go get yours.

Simply the best cupcakes in NY!
Don't get fooled by the popularity of Magnolia, this is the real deal.
The cupcakes themselves are soft and moist and the icing, although a bit on the heavy side, is delicious. The cupcakes are really big and a couple can share one with no problem. I also tried the chocolate mousse which was also delicious, but really heavy - even 3 people can share it and be satisfied.
Take the Brooklyn Blackout, you won't regret it. It's chocolate cupcakes filled with chocolate mousse with chocolate icing on top. What can go wrong? :)
