Surf City

Great view, outdoor marina feel, nice breeze, good place to meet for a drink while watching the boats pass by. Shame about everything else, mediocre at best. But you come here for the view and the outdoors nature of this place, and then, it kind of works. Oh and remember - summer only.

Lively spot for an outdoor drink. Overlooks the harbor harbor. The beer selection is dismal and the food is basic fried stuff but the views make up for all that.

I have been to Surf City quite a few times since they opened where Sand Bar used to be back in the days.

This is a great spot with some decent water views. The place is actually huge which is divided into sub sections which include an indoor section & self service area. The whole idea about this place is a spot which has a chill atmosphere.

Now coming to not so good things about this place. I have had food here few times , I can say with confidence that food must be avoided here. They offer sub par , tasteless bar food at not so good prices. The service at the bar and other sections leaves much to be desired. With no music or any kind of live music this place loses it's charm after you come here few times.

Basically a decent spot which has potential to be an awesome spot.

When the advertisements say "megabar" and they check our IDs at the door, I don't expect to find toddlers and children running around in a herd and screaming while I try to enjoy my cocktail and have a conversation with friends. In addition, the staff was not at all friendly and seemed hungover. Surf City is a cool concept and I have always enjoyed my experience at Zeppelin Hall (same ownership) but the experience here was not the same.

Location with a lot of potential, but disappointing. Food is way below average and therefore expensive.
Music doesn't fit the location and it comes over more like an American diner. There is an area with sand and chairs. No choice of alcohol at the bar.
