Great food , never any problems or complaints. ..

A relatively very, very good diner but when it comes to certain things, they are clueless as the day is long. I had their "mac 'n' cheese" the other day and while it was very good and filling, it was not mac 'n' cheese in any sense of the word; it was pasta in a cheese sauce which is by no means mac 'n' cheese. And the other thing was their blue cheese dressing. It was the absolute worst! Not only was it super-watery but you'd need a high-powered electron scanning microscope -- either Olympus, Zeiss or Nikon -- to detect the probably one or two parts per million of traces of blue cheese it contained! Earth to the Sunset Diner: blue cheese has been taken off the Endangered Cheeses List and is now plentifully available. I mean, really... Get it together guys!

Place is TIGHT! Food is great and reasonably priced. Service is top notch. A classic diner experience

I'm a costumer here for about 5 years now, I know the owner really well and he's the nicest person I have ever met. I also know two people who work there and they have always told me that the owner is obsessed with perfection and that the place is always perfectly clean, he can get a little out of hand but you can definitely see the results! The food is amazing and always fresh, the owner is also an amazing cook! He can make geek dishes upon request! Love the friendly environment and the whole atmosphere, I'm confident to say I call this place home ☺️

customer's need to know the truth this place is filthy don't eat there the owner Angelo does not follow health department rules this nasty man cut off a piece of dirty box to scoops out greek yogurt sour cream taziki with it. ice coffee never ever refrigerated or clean your drinking ice coffee left out for days and the container is never washed the basement is full of rats he buys his produce from a van not FDA approved. the meats have freezer burns he micro wave it then cooks and served he makes rice pudding and puts the spoon in his mouth for taste then place it back in the pot the waffles taste like freezer because he don't wrap them just throw them in the freezer no they don't make fresh waffles there bought made. how do I know all this because I worked there seriously this man don't follow health department rules. not so long ago he got a C grade but covered it with grade pending.
