I mean, look. It's a Starbucks. The coffee is mediocre and the drink quality is what you'd expect. In the end, if you're looking for Starbucks or a quick caffeine hit this will work.

My experiences here are above average for a Starbucks. They're quick and friendly...which considering you're going to hit it up at the drive through...that's all you want.

Starbucks is my go-to location on the weekends to sit, enjoy a coffee and read. This location is fairly clean and has great light. It also has a drive through. I only give it a 3 out of 5 because I just really do not think Starbucks coffee is that good.

Probably the quickest service Starbucks I have ever been to. The team over here DOMINATES lines and is pro.

Loving the Clover, and the stay for hours and have some more atmosphere. Some of the baristas are really professional and know their way around a coffee counter, and make me wish I could tip individually. Others are friendly and knowledgeable, but still in training.

Starbucks Reserve brewed on the Clover is a must try for coffee lovers. West Java is yum! I avoided Starbucks for a while thinking they only offered Pike and Frappuccinos, but I am loving the new selection of individually brewed coffee.

They are also very quick with their orders, including Mobile orders and Drive Through.

Bathrooms are always clean and well-maintained.

The customer base is pretty diverse. There are people that do business meetings there, some that are working or studying, or taking work calls. Families and young children stop by occasionally. Generally, people are polite and quiet. There are some friendly conversations that occur at the big table, and seem to be occupied by a lot of medical students and other late twenties professionals and students. Most of the time there are people quietly working at a laptop for hours, but besides very busy times, there's almost always space for two.

::WARNING: rant below. Only for the curious and the rude, ignorant man that the rant is about, who DOES NOT work and IS NOT affiliated with the Starbucks location::

Only bad experience I had here was when a very ignorant man was ranting to his wife and ~10 year old daughter (what will she learn?!!) about how it was packed and it was due to people studying there for hours, which he directed at me when he said, "and they have their boyfriends coming to pick them up" in a nasty tone. My husband had come after I had been there for an hour and a half at a small corner at the edge at the window working on a lesson plan, enjoying a delicious individually brewed drip, after his workout at the gym across the street.

Obviously I was very upset about the situation and that I didn't say anything that day to be mentioning this in a review. I was speechless due to the fact that I could not believe how rude and ignorant a man his age with a beautiful daughter could be. This is me hoping the man sees this and realizes how inappropriately rude he was being. He should be taking this up to the Starbucks CEO asking him to limit the amount of time people stay at a Starbucks, not targeting a young woman working alone at a laptop. By the way, I believe some Starbucks locations that are very busy do this. This Starbucks is not nearly as busy as the ones I'm used to in Manhattan.

This rant does not speak to the Starbucks location or to the employees in any way, but is a friendly warning for people that may be unaware of some of the ignorance that can be encountered in even a nice neighborhood like Rutherford.

Just your standard Starbucks. Not as big as the other two on route 17. They do offer more drip coffee options with their Clover system. It lets you have an individual fresh cup of coffee. They're always changing the coffee so you never get stuck trying the same thing twice.
