This sublimely lit, hotel restaurant has charm, great service, caring staff and fabulous Italian food with each dish careful seasoned to round out natural flavors. Ones the door is closed behind you and you are seated ambiance carries you away from New York hustle and fills you with pure joy and happiness and ones you taste the food and vine you understand that this will be your place from now and forever.

What wonderful staff!!! Massimo was a doll and very friendly and the best waiter I have had in a long time. Three of us went for sunday brunch at 11:30 and the restaurant was barely occupied. We had a reservation but definitely didn't need one - maybe that is an abnormal occurrence. The three of us did the prix fixe and enjoyed the onion soup, salad, and pasta along with unlimited cocktails and dessert. Lastly, they were so accommodating that we somehow spent 5.5 hours there! I cannot wait to go back again!!!

The lunch I had here just happened to be on Restaurant week, we hadn't planned it that way but decided to take advantage.
We got the onion soup, which was great, I got the cabonara with the quail egg and then the bigne for dessert. All the food was great and cooked just right. The Sirio Sour was also delicious and the unlimited option was a great choice for the brunch.
All in all I would highly recommend this place, the staff is ever accomodating and kind.

Based on Visit to Sirio Nov. 4, 6:30 pm.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. We visited Sirio for their "Grand Tasting Menu". It was a $125 dinner and with Groupon became $85. A pricey dinner but we were excited for a culinarily feast. There were five of us. Three were fish eaters, two meat and seafood eaters. I spoke to the manager in advance who assured me the chef would accommodate us with an exciting menu.
We received 5 courses of pasta. During the courses I asked the manager to please give us a protein, shrimp, beef, anything. He said, we gave you the Pasta Tasting. The fish eaters received bits of smoked salmon. This tasting menu was not the tasting menu that was on their website the week before. It was sinful paying $85 for Pasta that was mediocre at best. THE FOOD IN THIS RESTAURANT WAS THE MOST BORING & MONOTONOUS WE'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. SIRIO'S LACK OF CONCERN FOR WHAT THEY WERE SERVING WAS VERY OBVIOUS. It is a shame such a nice setting is marred by such AWFUL food. I'm sure SIRIO MACCIONI has no idea what is being served in his restaurant.
The food in the pictures on the website you will not receive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SPAGHETTI JOINT AT ALL COST.

This was dinner:
Shot of soup
Hard spaghetti shaped like a bun
Flat pasta white sauce
Smoked salmon bits
Risotto
Butternut squash ravioli
Desert

Basically starch starch and more starch
