McDonald's

I've come here a number of times. None of my experiences here have been particularly great, but two were at least memorable, which I explain below. But if nothing happens, it's just your usual, depressing McDonald's in NYC.

I was once physically accosted (no biggie- just pushed and then yelled at for not being a New Yorker) at this McDonald's by a local man while waiting at the outside turnstile for my chicken snack wraps at around 1am. He was probably a foot shorter than me and super skinny, so it was only sort of terrifying (in retrospect)- but it's those skinny, little tough guys that you gotta watch out for. He was probably drunk.

And on another occasion, also at around 1am, I saw a SWAT team unloading from maybe three unmarked vans. Nothing bad happened to me, but it's never the most comforting feeling to know that something serious enough to warrant SWAT police is going on nearby.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... Probably don't come here after or near midnight. This place only gets an extra star for giving me interesting memories.

They open late the service has been horrible 15 years i live in the area and every time i go in this Mc Donalds they always get my order wrong and the staff never friendly its restrooms are nasty thank god its closing soon Columbia University bought them out !!!!

This McDonald is horrible the bathroom here is dirty and unsanitary. They have two bathroom and only keep one open because they don't want to have to clean two bathrooms and the one they do have open is filthy dirty.

great McDonalds. What other McD's in the city has a parking lot and a drive thru window! Great food we loved as a kid

I must say this has been an on going problem with this location. I'm currently 28 years old and this was the first McDonalds that I came into as a child around 6 or 7 years old. I remember this restaurant and a family friendly well maintained and vibe location. It's been all good memories until this past 5 years or so.

I makes me sad and upset all together because the lack or training and management at this McDonalds. I've visited both through the Drive Thru and have walked in to the store and my order has been consistently rung up incorrectly. EVERY time I return to the store to complain not a manager or team member even excuse the inconveniences that I've had with the crew. Most of the staff are rude and give off a "what do you want" type of attitude as if they are paying me to come and eat at the store.

I've personally worked at McDonalds and it frustrates me that every time I come up to order I get my food not only over a minute and a half but I get a "that's it?" from the cashier/drive thru as I'm trying to order. As a employee I always recommended when needed and asked if there was anything else that the customer may want.... which I haven't heard from this location in YEARS.

I know this one complaint won't make a difference but I hope that whoever it is that reads this can please do me the favor of straightening out the OWNER & GM from this store. Keep an eye on this location because it has been here since I can remember and the QUALITY has gone down the drain.
