- Terrible #19599
Their Die Hard battery is low quality with a terrific guarantee. I would prefer a reliable battery over a great guarantee. After my battery died I went to Sears for a replacement. It was a very cold day and there was a long line of people also waiting for their replacement. Then they tried to sell me many things I did not need.

Deserves negative number of stars. Consistently appears to be running five hours behind on appointments. Yes, five hours.
I bought tires online from Sears and made appointment for 2pm. They said "how long can you wait?" Seriously? It should take 40 minutes. They said it would be at least 3 hours. I said I'd leave and come back. They said come at 5pm. I did. They said it would be "an hour to an hour and a half". So ok, I left for an hour and 20 minutes. Came back, they hadn't even begun to put the tires on.
Everyone in line was upset and had been waiting hours. One man had an appointment for noon only to *purchase* one tire, not even to have it installed. At 6:15pm he finally got his tire and left, saying " never again ". Indeed. I'm saying the same.
When I first arrived at 2pm for my initial appointment, the man in front of me in line had a 9am appointment for an oil change. At 2pm he was still waiting.
Sears. . .WTF??? Why do you keep accepting walk-ins when you can't even honor your appointments?
How little regard do you have for customers and for their time? Five fricking hours????? You should have to reimburse people for their time at your own hourly labor rate.
Never again will I do business here or any other Sears automotive. Sears has to know about the ratings for their centers in north jersey. Yet the problems remain.
Sears doesn't give a damn about customers. Now I know why their sign in the shop has quotation marks around the words " service you can trust ". Quotation marks shouldn't be used on a sign. But I get it now. . . they're ironic quotes.
The only thing you can trust this place to do is waste your entire day.
Screw you, Sears.

This place is absolutely the worst. I brought my car in for four tires and an oil change with an appointment. Showed up on Wednesday as I stated they told me my appointment was Tuesday. 2 o'clock appointment she said where you hours to get it done, I came back three and a half hours later the only thing they did we do your oil change no tires yet but it told me that it was done and they signed off on it. Then he goes to blame it on the girl that she's not here. Nobody takes account for their actions. There might be seven cars in the shop and they have about 25 to 30 stations. But it takes three and a half hours to do just an oil change. If I could give it a 0 stars I would

After being hung up on twice, they couldn't look up a battery to see if it was in stock. Then they said to come down on the hopes that they had it and the work would be done in 5 hours as they "had enough appointments for the day." Nice!

Horrible service. I went there on a saturday to realign my wheels through my alignment warranty, it was a busy day and the sales asociate there yelled at me and pretty much rushed me out of the store telling me to get the wheels balanced first.
I came back the next week and they had me wait 4 hours to get it done.. After all that time they came out and told me that it couldnt be done.. the excuse now according to them was that i had installed new steering or suspension parts (which i did not) and that voids the warranty. I had a heated discussion with the so called manager and finally they agreed to do the alignment..
Never going back there, if it is so damn busy hire more employees and mechanics
