As a first time buyer I walked in intending to use the S plan that my company offers as a discount with Ford/ Mazda. I was told by one of the salesman they were not a participating dealership that offers the plan and proceeded to continue with his pitch. I really wanted to lease the Mazda 6 GT until he offered me $529 a month for 36 months with 2500 down and a 2000 corolla as a trade-in . My best friend was with me and he pays $521 a month for his 2016 BMW 5 series (fully loaded). We then left to go get something to eat, and on our way to another dealership in New Brunswick, we called the Sansone dealership and asked to speak with a salesman. A very nice lady picked up and after a brief convo she informed me that they do indeed offer the plan and was baffled as to why the salesman told me they did not The dealership in New Brunswick was 100 times better. They offered me the plan that my company offers saving me thousands of dollars at $339 a month for 36 months with $1500 down and the trade-in. Lets see if they call to rectify this one sales persons lie.

Be aware! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the service agent Rosie was very nice. Went for replacement of the part under warranty and maintenance inspection: oil and filter change, replenish all fluids, tire rotation, etc. Part was changed, hopefully oil and filter too. Tires were not rotated and also I was informed there was nail in my tire (agreed to let it be fixed). I never though about questioning the service that was performed on my car till few days later when I noticed that the tires where not changed. Just so happens I have some robber missing from the tires (I just bought this car and that is what I noticed when making a purchase) when somebody was parking too close to the curb on passenger side and rear passenger side making it a marking spot that I could tell the tires were not rotated. They were in the same spot before the service. One should moved to the front and the other across to rear, but that didn't happen. I also question the nail in the tire story since there's no markings on the tire (accumulated dust on the tire from travelling), when somebody worked on it, but this one is much harder to proof. I contacted Mazda, told them what I think had happened. They offered to rotate my tires. I travel a lot it is very difficult for me to schedule another visit just to rotate the tires, when I was expecting the service to be performed on the initial visit. So beware...

I went in with my sister and my family to finance a mazda6 for my sister and let me tell you i am in customer service for 10 years now, and the experience i had at Mazda in Avenel NJ was horrible very unprofessional and rude salesman Joe (Joseph) helped us, and came back with crazy unrealistic numbers even though my sister had a 780 credit score, i would never go back to this place again and I will make sure none of my family and friends go there.

Today 05/16/2015 I had the absolute worst experience of my life at a dealership. I went in with my sister to trade in her car at Sansone Mazda in Avenel, NJ and since she is not savvy with finance I stepped in to make sure that she was not taken advantage of. After we were with the representative Joe 2 hours which included the test drive we then began to discuss numbers.

He came back with an extremely high unrealistic figure. Now, we understand that this is apart of the dealership's strategy however, when we began to ask the simple question of how this payment was so high, our dealer was incapable of answering a simple numbers question. He had his manger Gus come to speak to us and he said it was her credit score . I stated her credit from credit karma was 680 he then said it was actually 670. I told him that I knew that even this credit was a good score not excellent but good he then said it was actually 610. I asked him how he could say this after he just said it was 670. He tried to dismiss my question as if we misunderstood him. He then stated that we were too far off on the payment and I asked him based on what? I asked for the APR that being used or the money rate ( I got these terms from google). And he said 9% I said this was very high but even at that rate the payment should not be that high. I asked how this was calculated and he stated that there was not need to speak to the finance person and if I was not comfortable with the deal we could leave.

We got up and walked out and no one spoke to us as we left. I have never experienced such poor customer service in all of my life, and both my sister and I are in the customer service industry.

I left with the feeling that Gus, the Mazda Sansone Mazda Manager could not discuss the APR/ money rate or the other fees they were stating that would be included in addition to the DMV fees such as a extremely high bank fee, in detail be cause they were trying to roll ridiculous cost into, my sisters trade-in/purchase and they were caught red handed.

Rather than disclose the calculations of their numbers they simple rather-ed us leave!!

I will share this story with anyone that will listen this was the worst experience that I have ever had in customer service.

Exceptional service at Sansone Mazda. Would highly recommend you go there for your next car lease or purchase. Stephen Sansone and Susan Viegas were professional and extremely accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Shawn cook was definitely patient with me and my thousand questions and specific demands. I left the same day with a car I love. They have absolutely gained a lifelong customer.
