Really good option for pizza in Jersey City!
I order half a Meat Lovers (meatball, sausage, and pepperoni) and half a Prosciutto di Parma and arugula (prosciutto di Parma, arugula, mozzarella, roasted garlic oil, shaved Parmesan). I picked up the pie so it was a little cold by the time I walked back, but even then, it was still really good. They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients.
Plus, they have coupons! I mentioned it when I called to order but forgot it when I actually showed up, but they honored it anyway.
I'll definitely be back to try their other pies, but I think next time, I'll sit in and eat the pie as soon as it comes out of the oven!

We ordered the buffalo pizza in and were pleasantly surprised with the great tasting pizza that arrived. A thin crust with yummy cheese, tiny chunks of buffalo chicken and mushrooms. The portion is small which is exactly what we wanted, just right for two ppl with moderate appetites to share with no leftovers.

I wish you could rate staff food and everything separately but unfortunately its between a one and three star. I usually order for delivery. Avoid ordering after 6pm if you want a quick delivery. I was told one hour and 15 minutes the other night which didn't bother me as every time I walk in or pass by its a madhouse with orders going out as well as people waiting for theirs. Few days ago I stopped by with my son to grab some quick slices which we don't do usually because we usually order diner meal . I think they had just opened and a short older male who I've never seen before with a heavy accent greeted me very nicely asked to take care of us. Asked for a set of slices and he said sure it'll be a few minutes . we watch the pizza being made and when he gave my son some fresh cheese as a courteous sample couldn't help but notice his hands and forearms full of HAIR and COVERED IN FLOUR. At first I thought NBD but then I realized he had been flipping the pie around which when they spread the dough it runs from knuckles to forearm . I love the dine in but would stay away from the pizza unless you want there to be a chance of some body hair falling in your pie . dine in food has not yet let me down , love the antipasto followed by a nice entrée of chicken Marsala .

Very good pie. We had half roasted garlic, fresh broccoli/ mushroom, artichoke hearts. The garlic side was very good. Lots of flavor, crispy crust. The mushroom side was a little soggy, but tasted great!! I would eat here again. The dining room was closed for a party, but the take away and slice door was open. I stood there and watched my pie cook in the brick oven.

Came here a few weeks ago and I'm happy to report that there is good pizza in Jersey City! Passionate owner? Check. Good ingredients? Check. Big ass brick oven? Check. Thats a hell of a start. I really like the place's storefront which is a short walk from busy Washington St. They are BYO which I'm sure is awesome if you're going here for dinner. The server I had was great, as was the owner Charlie who was walking around. Since we were interested, he filled us in on all of his philosophy behind the restaurant, how he makes most of his ingredients, and gave us the grand tour, even showing us one of his workers making fresh mozzarella in the basement. So far so great. We started out with a salad with marinated portobello mushrooms, a nice mix of greens, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, olives, and fresh mozzarella with a light vinaigrette dressing. This was a great salad! The fresh mozzarella tasted like it had just been made--which was true--and packed great milky flavor. The roasted red peppers were also a standout for me, and the mushrooms were very good as well. The pizza was really good but fell just short of great for me. It seems to be inspired by the old NY coal oven places like Lombardi's and Patsy's; fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, a little basil, and olive oil . The sauce needed a little time to settle, but once it did it was very good with the roast garlic jn it supplementing the tomatoes well . The homemade fresh mozzarella is rinsed two more times for the pizza, whereas on the salad it was rinsed only once. To be honest, I wish they hadn't done this as this left the mozzarella without the moisture needed to make its full flavor stand out. The crust was nice and crisp but was a little thick and it didn't have much flexibility or depth of flavor. If you like a really crisp crust then this will be a big plus, but don't expect the whole crisp-but-pliant ideal ratio here, nor much char. As a whole this pizza was balanced well enough, but the full combination of flavors and depth that I was hoping for wasn't there. The ingredients were great but they didn't come together and stand out as well as they could've.
