The view is only so-so: a lot of trees in Central Park and some buildings in the distance. The rooftop bar is priced like an amusement park: $4 for soda, $12 for a sandwich, and $15 for cocktails. The only way down is the stairs.

Take the lift up to the top of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and discover its rooftop garden. A beautiful open air garden provides the perfect venue for enjoying the views over Central Park and the New York City skyline. It’s really one of my favorite places in New York, and it’s not difficult to see why: enjoy breathtaking art following by breathtaking views.
