We have gone to Riverview over the years, from before Long Island city was as built up. What is really built up is their prices. And they are nowhere near good enough from those prices. As someone else said: 'decent'. So we can't go there anymore.

I think the word to describe the food here is decent. Nothing spectacular but not bad. We mainly came for a change of scenery, since sitting outside with a view of the water and the NYC skyline is beautiful. Know that you're coming for the view though, not so much the food. The waiter also seemed less than enthusiastic to be doing his job. I'm sure there are better places though in Long Island City to enjoy the view plus enjoy good and not overpriced food in the process.

I come for their LGBT brunches & their food is delicious. Staff is friendly & food comes out quick!

Amazing is an understatement. The experience and food was so great, had to take more people and visit more than three times. This has become the spot for their really delicious white pizza along with french fries with drizzles of truffle oil. Their passion fruit mousse with Almond dacquoise was mouth watering. The staff/host and the owner are very pleasant. The prices are reasonable, for others it might be over priced but its worth it. The great view along with great food is really just priceless.
