Ritz Nails

I am an Astorian transplant from Long Island where nail salons are SOOO much better than Astoria. So I have tried them all and compared them all. I have to say the Ritz gives me the best Gel manicure and spa pedicure I can find in Astoria . Not to mention Jay and Julie are great nail specialists and are so customer service oriented. This place will be my place from now on.. Just wish the owner would get some more Shellac colors....

Let me start off by saying that below me are reviews that were put on this page by someone who works there. Do not fall for it! One day, My mother and I were eating next door and after we were done we wanted to get out nails done. So we seen Ritz nails next door and decided to give a shot! My mother got a great manicure and I got my nails rapped with permanent french UV gel light which cost me $90 dollars. The owner himself did my nails...and as he is doing my nails he is telling me that if in a week they stat breaking its bcuz my nails have to much oil ( i have never heard that before in my life)...The next day me my mom and sister wend for pedicures...(this is when it all went bad) He had the nerve to charge $20 for a pedicure. Our nails were not buffed did not scrape dead skin of off feet...and did not trim toe nails like i had asked. One person did all three of our pedicures all at the same time we sat there with our feet in the water waiting for him to finish other persons feet. so we didn't get full service. Then gives us slippers that i can get at the 99 cent store and tell us Thats why the pedi was so much money. ONE WEEK LATER MY NAILS THAT I HAD SPENT $90 ON WERE ALL CRACKED AND NOW 1 WEEK AND A HALF LATER THEY ALL FELL OFF!!!! NOW MY PINKY FINGER IS INFECTED AND HAD TO GO TO DOCTERS BECAUSE I HAD A BAD INFECTION...WHAT A WAIST OF $90 DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never go in there again!!!!
