If you're in the city during the week days, this hotel could be one of the best options. However, try to avoid it as much as you can during the weekend, the noise from the club is awful and it lasts until after midnight. I don't know how the hell would anyone would enjoy a quite night in this hotel? Also the area is not as good as I expected it, no near groceries nor restaurants, you gotta have a car to. There are plenty of free public parking around and you don't have to worry about that.

The 5th floor Suite with the view of new York is amazing. There's a rooftop club but the noise isn't that bad. The shuttle service is great. All the drivers were friendly and polit. Everyone was knowledgeable about nearby areas to eat. There's a dinner that delivers food to your room 24 hrs a day. For my first time in NY this was a great place to stay. I will definitely come back...

Valet staff were VERY incompetent ... well, the ENTIRE staff.
You'd think due to the fact you are being PAID to park my car you'd have the common decency and etiquette to open and close the doors for the passengers.

My bf & I decided to check this place out, we arrived 30 minutes prior our reservation time which was at 9:00 pm. The Hostesses weren’t very polite they were all over the place and didn’t even take the time out to fully acknowledge us. We were however seated shortly. The table that was assigned to us was very tiny with lounge chairs, for me this was uncomfortable so I asked the hostess if I could have a different table. She expressed that I would have to wait about 20 minutes. I didn’t want to wait however I saw a table open up and asked the waitress to consult the hostess so I could move. I was told by the waitress that I cannot move due to backed up reservations, I honestly do not know what the reservations had to do with us moving to a different table but WHATEVER!!!!!! … My boyfriend ordered the Atlantic salmon with side order of home fries, I ordered the coconut curry bouillabaisse which came with shrimp, scallops & clams. I don’t eat clams or scallops so I asked for replacement of shrimp. We also ordered vegetable spring rolls as appetizer. In around 20 minutes they brought out the main courses, no appetizer no sides and no extra shrimp! I don’t know where in the history of restaurants they learnt that trade where the main course is presented before the appetizer and not just that THEY WERE INCOMPLETE!!! For a 30$ plate I was forced to eat 5 just 5 baby shrimp out of a coconut when the description CLEARLY SAID JUMBO SHRIMP!!! The effen deception!!!!!!!!!! We informed the waitress and her only excuse was that the kitchen is really backed up GREAT!!!! Pretty standard for when you can’t just say YOURE INCOMPETENT! Besides, the restaurant was pretty laid back and not full that night in particular. The manager came over to “help” she expressed how sorry she was and offered to take my meal off the bill.. Well, because I WAS STILL HUNGRY !!! She offered to take the fries as well as the appetizer and replaced it with a meal that supposedly have more shrimp (The games of prawns) THIS MEAL DIDN’T HAVE MORE SHRIMP IT HAD ACTUAL JUMBO SHRIMP!!! BUT thnks anyway …. I’m not sure what she took off the bill, as it was $149.00 we didn’t even bother to check! We left a $30.00 tip which led to grand total of $179.00... The waitress didn’t even apologize to us or say thanks for the tip. We honestly couldn’t wait to leave and my bf was veryyyyyy IRRITATED!

SIDE NOTE::: HOTEL IS MORE LIKE A MOTELLLLLLL IT WAS DUSTY AND FILTHY
NEEDS SERIOUS RENOVATIONS ! ELEVATORS WERE GROSSS ! WE HAD TO WALK THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO EXIT .. THOUGH WE ENTERED FROM THE BACK .. ANNOYING MUCH!!!!

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS THE PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE QUEENSBORO BRIDGE HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THIS I PROBABLY WOULDN’T HAVE MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO LONG ISLAND CITY FROM WESTCHESTER. IM PRETTY SURE NO ONE WOULD GO HERE FOR MORE THAN JUST A DRINK HAD THE VIEW NOT BEEEN THERE …
