Took a trip today for a new driver.TaylorMade demo day so it was a perfect day.Only downfall was the wait.thats why I went with 4 stars.Maybe adding 1 or 2 swing booths for the day would have helped.Once I got in the TaylorMade booth Nick was a Great help,switched out driver heads & shafts until we got the perfect setup.I went with the R15 driver with upgraded extra stiff shaft,I traded my R1 driver in for store credit.Randy rang me up with a couple discounts for waiting for the booth so all in all a Great day.will go back next year when I upgrade my irons.

I've always gone here and had no problems until today. Me and my friend went in , I am looking to buy some irons and my friend looking for a new driver. I go to the booth section to see if I can demo one of the irons I am interested in and the guy (asian, never got his name) says "yea but only for 5 minutes". Ok no problem. So I hit the iron and love it so I want to get fitted. The other guy helped me because the original guy was too busy talking. So I get to the fitting room and was fitted by a really nice guy. Knew what he was talking about and didn't try to sell me on anything.

This is where they lose 2 stars , my friend now goes to sign up for a fittng for a driver and the asian guy says , "weren't you just fitted?" so my friend says "no that was him" and points to me, and now the asian guy says "c'mon guys do you want to actually get fitted or are you just looking to hit?" We were stunned , really? because I wanted to demo a club means that I am trying to get a free simulator session? I didn't say anything to him when he talked with someone for 30 min and had a long line build up at his desk. What a joke! Then he has the gall to walk over to the fitter James and tell him that we just want to hit and only give my friend 10 min. I got 45 min on my fitting so wtf? They lost at least $40 that day because I was going to rent a booth for 30 min = $10 and I was going to buy a Wilson 64 wedge= $30.

This guy needs a reality check , just cause we are young guys he can't take us seriously? I'm 25 and my friend is 22. I am a teacher and didn't need to deal with a child trapped in a man's body today. I will never spend a dime in that place unless I see or hear that he was fired. If you want better service and staff go to Golf Galaxy.

Decided to get a new sets of clubs after deciding I'll start playing golf. My handmedowns were somewhere between 20 to 50 year old (with real wood for woods), so I needed fitting as well. It was bit overwhelming at first with sheer size. My dad was bit fidgety at first thinking it might be more suitable for golf snobs but it wasn't so. Once we asked at the customer service to reserve for fitting (waited about 10 minutes), we looked around clubs until I was fitted by John. His assessment was blunt but helpful and received many helpful tips to guide newbie like me. Ended up spending upper limit of my budget for a driver, 5 wood, 4-PW iron sets and a SW, but it should last me well past beginner's phase. Tried out at a range next day, and the difference was incredible. Made me eager to go to golf course.

I had a great fitting experience last month at this store. Bill, my fitter, was extremely helpful in getting me into the right set of irons and driver recommendation as well. I already had a driver which I brought in to hit so Bill could fit that for me as well and it was a very pleasurable experience. I did not feel rushed at all which was surprising given it being a Saturday. His suggestion was not to buy another driver but to just shorten the shaft from the tip which would help with accuracy as well as increase the tip stiffness slightly. Bill was a joy to work with and highly recommend him if you're going to this store for a fitting. And best of all.... it was FREE!

Was looking for a left-handed ladies driver which was almost impossible to find Dick's sporting goods had none and golf galaxy had no ladies clubs and certainly no ladies left-handed golf clubs. Went to PGA store and there I found everything I wanted. Kudos to Randy - who went far and above the usual good customer service. Also told my golf buddies. Thanks again!!
