New location is superb! A classic West Village corner spot that basks in wonderful city views. Their food hasn't changed at all--still among the finest Italian in the city.

Great food for a small place. Sat at bar because just walked in. Had the octopus appetizer ;tasted the chioba( fish) and the steak. Absolutely delicious! Phillip at the bar serving us was great and attentive to our needs. A great find in West Village!
A good idea to reserve to get a table otherwise you will be directed to sit at the bar.

Always a good'n. Sometimes the staff can be super nice but I have been there when they're not so good. Food is classic and tasty - but I think I prefer some of their sister restaurants JL and JG.

I had a wonderful dinner here with my boyfriend. Everything was so good!
We had the Agnolotti, steamed mussels with lemon, capers, fennel and sea-urchin!!!

The Octopus dish was so tender and yummy. It was nicely done with sweet oven dried tomatoes and eggplant. I never had octupus like this before. All with a nice bottle Prosecco made our dinner perfect. I highly suggest reservations as they get very busy.
