Nice mexican restaurant in a calm-ish street. Beers are pretty cheap for West VIllage, and the guacamole is good.
Check out the happy hour specials on the blackboard outside, there a some sweet deals on food and drinks.

We came yesterday, Halloween. We asked for different dishes. The Steak salad was horrible, the meat was cold and chewy ($ 16), a few nachos with three little sauces ($ 16) a tiny burger ($17). A horrible drink special for $10 dollars. The waiter was really nice. The only positive experience we had there. I highly NOT recommend it at all!!

We arrived at 21.30 and asked if they we serving food, they told us kitchen closed at 10. So we asked for a table. The waitress just rolled her eyes as she now had customers (should've left then), we sat down and instantly was asked what we would like with out even looking at the menu. After a few minutes we ordered. The margarita arrived and was completely undrinkable we had to send it back. The food was average and the service was rude. This has to be the worst dining I've had in NYC. Rude,rushed,lacks charm.

Somehow a mediocre place in the grand scheme of authentic Latin fare - it's not bad but not above the average either. They do offer a funky atmosphere, complete with dark wood and red candlelight, the food is good and drinks are very good. Price is okish...
