Passaic County Transmission (PCT)

Most honest shop I have ever dealt with. I usually do my own work but transmissions are not my cup of tea. I am very satisfied with the total rebuild on my 77 F150 C-6. I will be having them do 2 of my C-4's.

Phenomenal service. Owner is honest, knows his stuff - he can fix the unfixable- and prices are more than fair. I would send anyone who needed transmission work here without hesitation, and this is the first time I've ever paid someone else to work on my car so that should tell you how particular I am about it.

My husband and I had the transmission on our 2003 50th anniversary Corvette serviced and I was very satisfied with the job done. Everyone who worked there was very courteous and had the car fixed within the time period given. Not only was everyone very professional and helpful, the estimate that was given was the price I paid when it was time to pick up the car. I was also given a warranty which a lot of places wont give. I had a great experience at PCT and would definitely take my cars again to be serviced again if needed.

Job quoted at 7 days. After 35, the job was not completed and my car was held hostage for payment in full. Fisher fixed it in 2 days with the same parts. Also, calls and emails were not returned along with a laundry list of other empty promises.

I took my truck here to have the clutch replaced a few weeks ago. They did a good job and there were no surprises with the price- it was exactly as quoted.

The only annoyance was that I made an appointment on Monday to bring the car in Thursday and told them the clutch needed to be replaced. I would have expected them to order the part so it was there, but they did not order it so I did not get the car back until the next Tuesday because they were waiting on parts. I could have kept my car for 2 or 3 more days- instead it was just sitting in their lot waiting for the clutch to come in. But worse things can happen when having your car repaired I guess...
