Jan Fence

After speaking to and getting quotes from multiple fence companies, we hired Jan Fence to enclose our entire back yard. They were very knowledgable, courteous, and extremely professional from our initial contact with them. We could not be happier with our choice.

The back of our yard is wetlands so when asked what would be the best option for us, Brian, our salesperson, suggested installing deer fence in the wetlands and vinyl fence for the remainder of our yard. He was very knowledgable and explained what would be done so that we were at ease and knew exactly what we paying for. His confidence, knowledge, and honesty is the main reason we decided to go with Jan Fence.

Brian was a pleasure to work with and came out multiple times without hesitation, even though we live in NY...about 45 minutes from the Wayne showroom. Gato and his hard working crew were also wonderful to work with. They knew exactly what they were doing and were extremely meticulous when doing the install. Even though the yard sloped down as it got to the back, they installed the fence so that is sloped down very gradually and looked beautiful,
while at the same time making sure not to leave much space for animals to get through the bottom. Gato made sure the install was perfect and did not take any shortcuts. He really took pride in his work and we've received numerous compliments on the fence and install.

Jan Fence did a great job on my fence. The foreman was very easy to discuss things with and his 2 workers were on time and put the fence in correctly.

I had Jan fence installed two years ago and its still going strong my salesman was Bob. He was wonderful.

We met with four fence companies including Jan. We found that Jan was the most direct, came out to the property several times, answered all questions quickly. No hidden fees. Our property is very uneven with large rocks. The fence was installed beautifully and evenly. The installers worked from 8:30 in the morning until 7:00 at night in the freezing rain. They took tremendous pride in their work. We are so pleased with the fence installation and would highly recommend Jan.

Had Jan Fence replace an older chain link fence. They replaced with an aluminum fence that is completely inferior to what we had. The fence rattles with the wind (not even a very strong breeze!), the installers left garbage, screws, and some type of stains on the patio. We contacted Jan Fence regarding the rattling and the installer came out and said "that is the materials they gave me - nothing I can do". I contacted them back and they told me the salesperson would come back out. A month has gone by and no one has shown up.

Update - May 17th - The owner of Jan Fence did contact me and arranged to have the fence repaired to my satisfaction. The fence is now very solid, no longer rattles at all, and is how I would have expected it to be initially installed. If this was how it was installed the first time I would give 5 stars (maybe 4.5 since they still did leave screws/garbage in the yard where my kids play).
