Nygel's American Cuisine

Delicious! Last night I had the tastiest meal from Nygel's: Crab Cakes with collard greens and potato salad. I have been eating crab for less than a year but I have tried crab cakes from a few other places and what I've notice is some are 'CRAB' cakes and some are 'stuff and a little crab' cakes, Nygel's served CRAB cakes! The accompanying sauce was a perfect addition! I am however a professional potato salad and collard green connoisseur. These are definitely high on my list! I will be returning to partake of these delights again! :-)

I give this place 5 stars. Usually when it's a small restaurant like this, some would assume that 5 stars is too much. But in all honesty my family and I were ELATED with our experience here. The Staff is a way-too-nice Husband and Wife duo who were happy to accommodate all of their guests.

I had the BBQ Beef Rib that was so tender the meat was falling off of the bone, with Mac & Cheese and Candied Yams. After my first bite of everything you couldn't convince me that I wasn't at home having a wholesome Sunday dinner. We also had desert, mine was a pumpkin spiced cake that was rich in flavor without being too sweet.

We live in Delaware, but I hope with all my heart that we can get to go back to this place again and soon.
