I've used Nextron for almost a year, because that's whom my doctor's office recommended, and I should've switched long ago, because I've had nothing but problems. I have to call them nearly every week because I didn't get my delivery or they screwed up my order - sometimes even after speaking to them ahead of time to confirm that I'm getting a shipment that week and it will have what I need.

Sometimes they have a valid reason for not sending it, such as the prescription ran out and they hadn't heard back from my doctor yet, but no one ever communicates that to me. They should really give you some kind of case manager, because no one knows anything when I call. I have to explain EVERY time what day my nurse comes, and that I have a port, so if I don't get my delivery, it doesn't matter if I still have meds on hand (even though I often didn't have that either) because I can't use them if my nurse doesn't have the supplies to access me. You'd think they'd note these things in my file somewhere. I've also explained more than once that the delivery time matters as well, because that affects whether I can get my weekly blood work done. Once, after not getting my delivery on Tuesday like I'm supposed to, they assured me it would be sent priority and arrive by Wednesday morning in time for my home nurse visit. Instead, I did not receive it, and when I called, they said nonchalantly, "Yeah, we changed it to regular shipping to save a few bucks. It should be there by 3." I said the labs close then and my house is half an hour away, so my nurse needs to be done with everything by 2:30 to be able to drop off my blood. My delivery did not come in time for that.

They never seem to care or understand that they are completely messing up my schedule, my nurse's schedule, and my treatment. I've missed so many days of my medicine because of them. They've even argued with both me and my husband and said I should not be running out of nursing supplies because they gave me one extra of everything when I started a year ago! That includes the dressing, which I often need to change more than once a week. I keep telling them I need a lot of extras of that, and they'll send me double for maybe two weeks and then stop again. Once I had to use a dressing that I'm allergic to because I didn't have any extra of mine. Another time, I asked for alcohol wipes, expecting a brand new box, and they sent me a handful - literally, someone threw maybe 5 wipes in a bag. My nurse is always saying his other patients never have problems like this, and he's never seen such a stingy company. He says normally they over-supply to be on the safe side.

Now Nextron has just told me that my treatment is done and I won't get any more deliveries, even though that is not what I discussed with my doctor at my last appointment. This is not the first time they've said that either. I've since spoken to the office multiple times about this occasion and, again, they said they never told Nextron to stop my shipments. When they called Nextron for me, they were told it was an insurance issue. When I called Nextron back, they said no, it's not an insurance issue, and insisted my doctor instructed them to stop. When I asked whom they spoke to, they named another infusion company that my doctor's office works with! I do not get any supplies from that company, and I am not in contact with them. How would they know anything about my treatment, and why is Nextron taking orders from them?? I asked specifically, "So you didn't speak to anyone at my doctor's office?" and they said, "No, I did not." Is that even legal??

They also couldn't get my FSA card to work and told me I'd have to pay my bill another way. They did look into what the issue was (only because I told them that's the only way I'm paying) - something with the way their system codes the charge - but they told me it would cost $7500 to update the system, so they couldn't do it "just for [me]." I highly doubt I'm the first person who tried to pay with an FSA!

Save yourself the stress. They're incompetent.
