I have no words to describe how you guys have changed my life. I wish I could have something really valuable to pay for what you guys did without asking anything on return. I want to thank Norma Tinubu she was in the beginning of my journey, she opened the door to my freedom, Nadia, thank you for your support, Lisa I want to thank you for what you did for me, thank you for putting Wilson Osorio on my way, I had never met anybody so young, smart, intelligent, so professional, with such a positive attitud and full of energy and positive vibes, Wilson you are a new hero to me, thank you again. You guys really change lifes and bring people to the light. You guys have no idea how happy I am, how many goals I have on mind to realize and everything thanks to all of you. I can't get ahold of them and I can't even get through their front desk. I've come here twice before and the jerk sat the front desk aren't accommodating for disabilities at all. I told him I have anxiety with speaking on the phone, mostly because I have an easier time reading lips due to neurological nerve damage and dysphoria from my voice. Doesn't care and wouldn't even let me finish my sentences before saying "next".

The one time I was actually able to go upstairs, I had an appointment, but I was told I wasn't on the list. I was made to wait outside for about 30 minutes and it became clear that the person had forgotten me. I was allowed in and the appointment commenced. I didn't feel very welcomed either. I ended up missing a piece of information, which was my fault, but I was never able to get a hold of anyone after that.

Why are services for LGBT people so inaccessible?

I was referred to this organization by an Immigration attorney because i couldnt afford her fees 5 years ago. i would like to share my testimony today because i was once Abused by my husband when he bought me to this country. i felt like giving up. knowing i couldnt afford college, work or travel and worst of all i left my relatives and child in my homeland Guyana. Upon meeting one of the staff Ms Maryann Therrapel and sharing my story with her. Today i can say it was such a joy. She is very patient, confidential and in her over all approach towards my case.When i am fustrated and felt like giving up, i called Maryann, food, metro card etc.. she can always find a a group for me. to get help. I couldnt continue to enjoy life without with this review to encourage those of you out there that needs help.
