I have started taking classes at My Yoga Revolution in Astoria a month ago. I like the6pm Beginner's Yoga, it is a convenient class to attend after work. The teacher is friendly, and you get a lot of personal attention during the class. I find that my energy level has improved dramatically, since i have started taking yoga. I get a lot more things done in my day, my body has more strength and my mind is more focused. Beautiful studio, affordable, welcoming and easy to get to.

I am a beginner belly dancer and I found this great small studio very close to NQ Ditmars stop. The music choice is very rhythmic, the professor very knowledgeable. She combines the belly dance moves with body energy techniques and overall the class is fun and relaxing.
After 8 hours of stressful work environment this is the best place to relax while learning new dance steps.

I had one yoga class and one class of belly dance, it was the same instructor and both classes were great. She is really working with her students and she is a patient and friendly instractor. The studio is a little bit small but it feels like you are at home with your friends. So i will definitely go again.

This is a very unique and intimate yoga studio. I absolutely love the size and vibe of this place. The tapestries are a great touch, and the whole aesthetic is quite calming. The location is super convenient, being as there is an entrance right from the Astoria-Ditmars train station. At first I thought that the close proximity to the train could be distracting, but it's so tranquil in the studio that I barely even notice the noises from the nearby trains.

I'm a big fan of the Tuesday/Thursday beginner's classes. These supply a good workout in a traditional vinyasa format. I have been practicing yoga for a number of years now, but I still find it beneficial to go back to the basics from time to time. Gala is great at breaking down the postures, and she is very attentive to new students. These classes are a must for first timers looking to learn more about yoga!

On other nights of the week, you'll have the opportunity to experience Lalita's (the owner) sequence which she has created herself. It's a very different sequence than that what I typically practice, so it has been cool to try something new. The one downside to some of these classes is that they are going through teacher training so several instructors will teach the class at once. I found this frustrating at first, but over time I've become more familiar with the postures and it hasn't seemed as cumbersome. Also, all of the teachers in training are very sweet and helpful. They are great at remembering names, and one of the teachers, Jennifer, even remembered that I had recently been on a trip and asked me how it was. It feels good to be appreciated!

Overall, practicing here has been a different experience, but I'm glad that I decided to try something new.

I love getting massage, and received many massages from many therapists through the years. I wanted to try Ayurvedic massage as I had never had it before. The spa is uniquely decorated in an original Indian style. Lalita, the owner, greeted me very nice, Explained to me what Ayurvedic massage is about . The massage itself was wonderful, Invigorating and relaxing at the same time, well worth the time and money spend. I will definitely recommend the place and come back again.
