This is the best place on the Island, if not in the entire NYC area. I've eaten in 100's of sushi places, so I know what I'm talking about. Everything is awesome about it. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and attentive, the decorum is proper and ambient.
The owner is very intelligent, perceptive, and thoughtful, hence the great result.
Who needs Nobu, when you have Miyabi II.
BTW, look at all the 5 star reviews, they are genuine. The only one that is negative must be from their angry competition...

Fantastic sushi. We always order the Sushi and Sashimi for 2 and it never disappoints. It is pretty reasonable too. Unlike other sushi places I have been, this platter comes with a chef special roll in addition to the tuna roll and all the sushi and sashimi. They get their special fresh deliveries on Fridays so Friday and Saturday nights are the best nights to go.

My husband and I have eaten at Miyabi twice now. Both times we got the sushi and sashimi for two. The quality of the fish was excellent both times. Very buttery and creamy like salmon, tuna, etc. The special rolls were different each time and quite amazing. They gave us no trouble switching from the tuna roll to the California roll like some places. I'm impressed with the staff - prompt, attentive, and genuinely interested in serving great food. Highly recommend!

This is my husband and my new favorite sushi place. They deliver fast and with very little mistakes, and their food is amazing! I'm obsessed with their Volcano Rolls, and my hubby loves their curry soup. Out of all the times we've ordered from this place, we've only had an issue one time where the food took like an hour to arrive. The manager apologized and gave us free apps the next time we ordered. :)
Highly recommended!
