Best chicken parmigiana hands down. Authentic Italian food from the old country. Real red sauce. This is worth a trip. Or if you live in the area don't miss out.

granted that i am a real italian, not from nj. just by saying that, i should warn you not go there unless you are in the mood for slow and non responsive service, americanized italian food for tourists and, of course, an overpriced bill... but in nyc you guys judge the quality by the appearance and the amount you pay...

top-flight restaurant in this up-and-coming neighborhood; well worth the hop over the 59th st bridge, even for manhattanites who wouldn't step near the bridge & tunnel crowd. thin personal pizzas and calzones to die for, as well as other mains; what they do with cabbage is amazing -- and well worth the cabbage.
