Empty cafe and needed a place to sit for 20 mins before a meeting. Would've ordered my breakfast sitting down but decided to pack it to go for me instead of allowing me to change my order to stay. Should I have just asked them to throw that out and order another breakfast to stay? Staff is like robots, explained to them twice.

Far too many delicious desserts! The pain au chocolate was excellent, as was the orange brioche. A real Parisian experience!

The white chocolate bread is AMAZING!
At first I said no thank you! Then I tried it and it was the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Great selection of French classic pastries paired with simple-yet-soul-warming teas. There's a great limited selection of salads, sandwiches and dishes all perfectly executed. Staff is very warm and detail oriented.

10 min walk is a a very small price to pay for the best baguette and épi in town! They are always very nice with me and it is always a real pleasure to walk the extra (mile) to get to them. I'm french and yes i need my baguette to start the day, for my lunch, for my dinner and for all special occasions. I was a customer back in Paris and I am thrilled since they are here on Bleecker st.
