This is my first ever Google review but I felt it was necessary to let my voice be heard. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are RUDE and inconsiderate. Cars have high miles and over priced. I was originally interested in a BMW I thought was fitting but after doing research I found another at his dealership that seemed as it was a better deal (at the time). After I called John and told him I was interested in another vehicle but asked if we could negotiate a price, he was insulting and rude. Told me I had MONETARY issues if I couldn't pay sticker price. Not to mention the fees are ABSURD. They charge $300 for plates which you can buy yourself for $25. John, JD and the finance guy were all RUDE and manipulating. I offered to put $1000 down towards the CAR and they moved it around and tried saying they would pay my insurance for 6 months and plate fees ($300) so they could pile on interest. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership who has integrity and treats you with respect.

A horror story worst than Friday the 13, First I called and spoke to Frank and told me the car I was looking for was there and ready to go the same day, I took the day off work and drove 3hrs along New York traffic with my girlfriend only to find the car with a check engine light, Frank customer service was good and explained/showed me that the gas cap said if you leave it open the check engine light comes on, we proceeded with getting the car because he seemed so nice and we really wanted the car, he told me he was going to add me and my girlfriend to the loan but after talking to the fat guy in the back he came back (supposedly is the manager) and not only did he not add me or at least quot me how much will it be with me added as a cosigner (to make credit) like he said but came back with an outrages price of 450/month on a 14,000 car (the fat guy didnt even try to add me or quot me to the loan), when I asked why so much!? he said because he added the warranty (Which he said would be free), came back with another price that still not make sense and after leaving while walking away the fat guy in the back pretended to make a 2 min call to the bank and said they would give me a lower apr but the monthly price would be about 2.00 off (?????!!) I ended up leaving after spending 3hrs there....I wanted the car so bad I went back (3hrs drive) as a surprise with a friend who knows cars and sales, the car was not in the lot so when I spoke to JD (the manager) and after telling him my story and the price he said Frank is like a new guy and been there baby time comparing to him and lets say jokingly said should be fired, (LONG STORY SHORT) said the check engine was a big problem and car had to be sent to audi but will be fix and have paper work ready, told me frank did not say they have a 899 fee plus 230 fee for plates that normally cost 30.00, waited a week for the car and the day before at 7pm JD pushed us to get the car insured to get it tomorrow wends 10 am quickly(not a bad idea), the next morning after me and my girl taking the day off work he calls me and said the car is not ready and has a problem with the catalytic converter to wait more time (even though he sent us a picture with the car being "ready") I was upset i lost money from work and he only replied its a beautiful day and enjoy it(what an inconvenience), sunday came and he advice us not to get the car and that it was not fix,SMH- he even lied to us while negotiating the price and I really think they sold the car to someone else probably for a higher price- PS I called 5 times for my deposit to be refunded. NEVER AGAIN, Such a sneaky place, imagine if i would of took the car with Frank and drove off 3hrs away. about 12hrs driving back and forward to this place and only got a lower credit score from them along the stress and frustration. #IWarnedYou

I have been reading the reviews regarding this dealer and do not agree with the poor reviews. I spoke to John in sales who was very helpful when I explained what I was looking for. I wanted a MB E350 4matic.
He asked me to apply for financing online which went through in a day with Wells Fargo my previous lender. By the time I made an appointment to pick up the car it was sold. My fault for not adding a deposit. When at the dealership John couldn't have been nicer. He had all the paperwork done quickly and had a few cars ready for a test drive. John suggested I test drive an Audi A6 quattro 4.2. I hadn't planned on an Audi but agreed. Well, the car was unbelievable. Beautiful interior, although a little worn. The exterior almost 98% perfect. The ride was fast, precise and blew the MB away. So, I agreed to buy it. John helped me through a few financing issues and a previous loan payoff and we were done. There are a few minor issues with the Audi. It needed a new oil pan gasket and a clamp for a coolant hose. But all in all the car is very good.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is I wasn't offered a cup of coffee while I waited. Oh, one other thing....I have been calling John to thank him and possibly purchase another car. But he hasn't returned any of my calls since I bought the Audi on January 30th, 2015. Hmmm, I wonder if he is expecting me to complain about something???

Update to my previous review. I drive to work using the Palisades parkway daily. Like so many roadways, during the winter months the parkway was ravaged and the result was a plethora of assorted potholes. My Audi was setup with low profile tires. Within a few short weeks my front tires had several "bubbles". I was planning to replace the tires at the end of this week, Friday the 10th. But as luck would have it the left front tire blew out this Monday. I thought, "No problem, just change to the spare and Friday I will replace the tire". I went into the trunk to get the spare and was surprised to find the underside of the spare had a 2 foot gouge in it....totally destroyed. When I bought the car I did look at the spare but it seemed okay from the top view....I didn't touch it or check the underside. So, now I had to call a tow truck and cancel a work appointment I had that day. The tow cost 126 dollars. The tire 160 dollars. In my last review I stated the a few minor repairs were need on the Audi and I didn't hassle Lux Auto about the cost. But I feel the spare should be usable and is part of their lemon law responsibilities. I called a few time seeking restitution. I was told the "manager" would call me. He has not, So, tomorrow I will file a complaint with the New York State Department of Consumers Affairs, the New York State division of consumers protection. Oh, of coarse the BBB. And I will post this on their face book.

Craig and John do not return your calls, put you on hold and never come back to the phone. Very unprofessional. Please pay attention to the reviews. Too many people having the same experience.

So after weeks of looking, I found a car I want and when I came to pick it up the dealer refuse to let me buy the car because I asked to MANY QUESTIONS about the condition of the car.

It started with me visiting the dealership with a relative to find out more information about the car. Frank, the sales rep showed me the car and told me that i can take the car off the lot today but refused to give me any more information about the car. After asking several times, he finally gave me a car fax but the information was doc. i think asked if there were any accidents on the car since the car fax that he handed over didn't show any information on it which he said, there is no way of finding that information out. We have no other record on this car but it's in mint condition.

I really liked the car so i told him i would come back the following day to test drive it with a mechanic and i also wanted to do my car fax report on the car. After doing my own carfax i noticed the that mileage of the car was off by a few mins as well as TWO accidents reported on the car. They failed to tell me that info and after i mentioned it to then, they agreed to drop the price of the car and fix the wheel alignment and the car idle that my mechanic mentioned being fixed. I then gave my deposit and told them i would be back with a check to pick up the car.

The day i came to pick up the car, i asked about the wheel alignment if it was set as well as if the idle/tune up was fix which he said it was. i looked at the idle and noticed it wasn't fix, so i asked about it. Frank then notified me that we don't do tune ups and the car was fine. I said fine and gave him my check. Two mins later he told me they didn't want to sell me the car cause i was asking to many questions about the condition of the car.

I then asked to talk to the manager which he said that he's been in the business for 20 years and he thinks that selling me the car would cause him grief since i didn't pay the asking price and also saying he can sell the car to someone else stupid enough to buy it. He also mentioned that i was to throu with the car and i should go to Honda dealership if i wanted a car. I went thru all the paperwork, signed off everything then the last second, he said he refused to take my check from the back.

FYI, the bank place a disclaimer on the check saying the dealership is responsible for any repairs that needed to be done on the car. I paid 45 dollars on a car fax, parts and insurance only for them to deny me service simply cause i asked about the conditions of the car and what works as been done on it for reference. They were completely unprofessional and unreasonable and had be begging to buy the car cause i needed it for work tomorrow which he still refused to sell it to me cause he said he knows "People Like ME".

He said i was asking to many questions about the car and the conditions of it and i would bring grief to them because of me asking a simple questions.
