Louis Vuitton Manhasset

I have had absolutely awesome experiences at this store. I am not a regular customer here, have mostly come in for repairs, but everyone has been BEYOND nice. They are quick to assist you with any issues, and always come over to make sure you are ok if you are browsing or waiting for a repair. They even replaced my pull tab on my vintage Speedy 35 for free when it broke. They are knowledgeable about the products, about any repairs you may need, and can do some repairs in-house which is convenient. Anyone I've dealt with has been friendly and very easy to work with. I have nothing bad to say about them. LV is notorious for giving you a hard time when trying to return items that have a defect. This is why you MUST inspect your items thoroughly prior to purchasing or accepting delivery on a product. Just because it is new, don't assume it is without a defect. Make sure you do your research and know exactly what your item should look like, and look for any issues at the point of purchase. This is one area where all LV stores could be improved, once you leave the store they are quick to accuse you of causing any defects, even factory caused issues.

They need new staff and also need to be trained to sell. Hate the service at this location.

Returned a handbag that I received as a gift 9 days after it was purchased for $1000. The manager accused me of mishandling the handbag which looked used and stretched after I took it out of the gift bag. The manager and all the employees are very rude...so rude the police was called. The handbag was purchased on 06/20/13, was given to me on 06/28/13 and I tried to returned on 06/29/13. The bag was discolored, old and used looking. Do not step foot in this store. Very bad service and they sell used merchandise at a full price. The store misrepresents Louis Vuitton products. I have contacted the headquarters. I hope to hear from them soon. Stay AWAY from this location.

I do not understand why did Richa & Kyle encountered the negative experience they did. My husband is a handsome black man I married 25 yrs. ago. I am hispanic. The manager, Pedro Davila assisted us with our purchases & proudly gave us a history lesson on the Louis Vuitton products. Educated us that Louis Vuitton son created the 'LV' logo design for the classic look. Our visit to the Manhasset store was informative. We did not feel uncomfortable & everyone in the store, the cleaning lady dusting the inside showcases, the 2 security guards, the young lady putting new items into a show case, as well as the other sales reps were professional & courteous. My husband brought me a beautiful handbag, matching wallet, key fob, as well as sunglasses. As for the 2 negative reviews this store received, that I believe were false, I can say it's not true. We had a wonderful experience. Not to forget to mention that customers that came in after us received the same professional & courteous treatment. We will return there HAPPILY AGAIN.

I walked in this store with $10,000 cash to spend. I was looking at the same item for 20 minutes. Not one sales rep came to me and asked if I needed help. As I walked out completely disgusted with every sales rep I announced to them that I came here willing to spend money but because they all looked at me as a child with no money I will go spend my money elsewhere and I showed them the cash. Once I did that they were all drooling at my feet. I simply walked out. If you are young with money, they don’t even look your way. DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION. N.Y.C. LOCATION IS AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH.
