I am a fan of wrestling and lucha libre as well, and well when I heard about this place, I wanted to go there with a few friends who also like wrestling. First off, the place is small and it is the definition of a ‘gimmick restaurant’ but in a totally good way. The walls are covered with lucha posters, masks, action figures and other lucha related stuff. Also on the other side are old lucha movies being projected on the wall (with no sound) which is actually pretty entertaining since it’s so old and cheesy.
Now you can’t expect something like a full meal with all the fixings on this place but it’s a good place to get a small bite. The food is small but it has a nice flavor to what you’re eating, plus everything is named after lucha moves and wrestlers. The service was also great and helped made the whole experience seem much better. It’s well worth to even go there at least once to feel the whole lucha experience… and to get your check given to you in a mini lucha mask on a mini wrestling ring.
