they do something that i call a "not so cool business practice". when you drop off a blanket/comforter, you get charged twice for it. there is a fee for having something like that washed (which is very common in NYC), but they also charge for the weight of it. I recently dropped off a bag that weighed 14 pounds, and 4 of those pounds are from my blanket. they should just charge the extra fee for the blanket, and not the weight of it as well.
when i questioned the owner, i was told that i could have it washed by itself and pay $15. the original charge is $6.95
they do great work though, and very friendly, and ive never had any other problem. i just hate taking things like that over there to be washed. i guess i could just wash it myself, but we all know thats not gonna happen........so i just deal with it, and bitch about it when i can.
