Select is huge customer service is poor.
I am a repeat customer for over 10 years.
Purchases typically go smoothly except when something is needed from the stock room.
Bottle returns are an exercise in illegal tactics and frustration. When returns are brought in everyone suddenly forgets how to speak English. Although they are open from 10:30AM through 9PM, they stop accepting bottles at 6PM - a violation of NYC bottle return law which includes: ...THE RIGHT to return your empties any day, any hour, except for the first and last hour of the dealer's business day.
Also to add insult, although they have the bottle return machines they are outside around back and locked after 5PM !
Unless I have an absolute emergency I will not shop there again.

location is awesome. competitive prices and selection is huge. who could ask for more

Awful place. I walked in with recyclables, and the woman at the counter was hostile when I asked for someone to empty a full machine. And a year ago, my then girlfriend had a run in with the same woman. Well you know what, treating me that way when I'm not there to spend money ensures that I'll never spend money there.

The woman at the counter is fantastic! great selection with great prices. Find another beer distributer in queens!
