Jack's is a cozy South Street Seaport coffee shop[1].
Tasty espressos, and cappuccinos with charm. If you're not into coffee, they've got juices too. Pricing's what you'd expect, and they take credit.
Perfect for solo-ing a newspaper[2], catching up with friends, or casually canoodling a confidant. Tourists abound, but that's typical for the neighborhood.
Last I was here, I had super friendly service. I'm glad to have them as an option for caffeination in the 'hood.

this Jack's is totally night and day. in the morning it's my favorite place to grab a coffee and chat with nice employees. in the afternoon their drinks are occasionally drain pours and the second shift folks aren't as friendly.
