Acqua at Peck Slip

Delicious food! HOMEMADE pasta! All absolutely yummy! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

We had dinner at Acqua the Sunday before Christmas. I made a reservation ahead of time, but had to move it back 1.5 hours at the last minute - no problem! We arrived to find this sweet little place on a cobblestone street. It has dim, warm lighting with lots of glowing votives which added to the coziness of this place. We didn't have to wait. The restaurant was comfortably full of people. Our waitress was lovely - attentive without being pushy or fake. Dinner was delicious. Bread was perfect! Great selection of entrees. Three of us had pasta dishes and two of us had the steak with potatoes, etc. portions are generous, just right. I had the Puttanesca with chunks of tuna - superb. Pasta is homemade. Everything just seemed very fresh. I had a really good glass of red wine with dinner - one whole wall is covered with shelves of wine - visually pleasing, rustic. I loved Acqua and I will definitely return!

Acqua's location is perfect. You can dine while staring at the new World Trade Center building and it is also a walk away, which is great for a date. The food is great as well, especially the chicken and the sea bass are both awesome. The staff are so friendly and they offer you free wifi as well, it's just the perfect little restaurant for a date.

Fantastic food; fresh and amazingly prepared; serving sizes are just right. Management and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's just a really great restaurant all around.
