Hunan Taste

The absolute BEST BEST chinese food! The woman at the front though is so rude and if the food wasn't so good I wouldn't have returned. We have never had anything there that wasn't delicious!
I took one star off my rating because of the rude staff.

I have been coming to Hunan Taste for about ten years & I have tried all of the other "competing" Chinese restaurants and I can tell you that Hunan Taste is by far THE BEST Chinese restaurant- from the hot & sour soup to the pork dumplings & the shredded crispy beef, everything is always absolutely delicious and fresh.

I highly recommend the dine-in lunch special-all meals are $5-$13 dollars each, including soup, rice & your choice of an egg roll/spring roll.

Service is always quick, although you can expect that on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights it will definitely be busy, it is always worth the additional wait! Takeout & delivery is extremely fast and has also never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and extremely accommodating!

What has happen to this restaurant? It was one of the Chinese restaurants on Long Island. Last night it was not very good.
The dumplings were gummy and the pork seemed a bit raw.
The service was also not good. While there is a sign NO CELL PHONES, there were people speaking loudly on the phone and management would not say anything to them.
Overall not a good dining experience.
