Hudson Terrace

Completely a trashy place. Horrible experience, went on twork occasions. Crowd is lame. Drunk underage college students who can't handle their alcohol was the crowd. Staff is horrible. Bouncers allowing underage college girls enter with fake IDs. It reminded me of my college dorm party days. Don't go to to this place. There are more classy places. This place is trash.

Please stop holding your events here! The only reason I've trekked all the way over to this remote location is b/c people hold events here and invite me. Stop! At this point, I just don't go if there's an event here. If I'm trekking all the way over to the Hudson I want some value - the Intrepid is there and that's worth the trek. This place always seems to disappoint. They hold the door in order to create a line even when it's empty upstairs - I've arrived, seen the line and called/texted friends already there and they say it's empty. In addition, they try to charge on top of what you've paid for your event. Their drinks taste like they're watered down and the bartenders never seem to know the drink specials being offered - how convenient. Lastly, they have a retractable roof and they think if the roof is open - even 2 feet - then they can allow smoking. Disgusting and that's not the NYC smoking law. If you see them doing that take pics and call 311...There's just no good reason to go here.

Was there once this summer, they had the roof open and damn it was hot. No AC... decor is a little old, you can see rust on their steel beams. Could have been a great venue but owner did not spend money on maintenance, what a shame.

Dope spot. I would never go there unless we had a table not on the dance floor. Crazy packed. A lot of great looking females..a lot of them doing coke..which is fine. Coming from outta town this was a blast. Dj played hits that we loved. It was kinda odd that a lot of New Yorkers looked at us odd because we knew all the words to songs. Being from outta town we were directed to Club Pasha. We walked up and found out that it was a billion people 18 and up club which we were not interested in. Then we saw a rooftop spot across the street that looked nice. This guy name Xavier I think asked us what we were looking for and we told him bottles and a table. He typed in his phone our name and we returned a little later after 11. Only 45 mins after opening and the spot was slammed. The line was long and we were definitely not waiting in a line that long. I approached the door and the same guy said Hey Buddy...follow me. He slid us right past the line thru the door. After we decided on our bottle selection we went up the elevator and to our table right on the corner facing the Hudson and a big ass Aircraft Carrier which was dope. I'm not gonna give anymore details on how the night went due to my boys and I made a Hangover type hush agreement but let's just say we had a great night here. One last note...being that we had bottles the lady gave us a complimentary drink and I only got one drink from a bartender. It was terrible. I was beyond wasted and I was like wtf.

I've visited Hudson Terrace on two different occasions for networking events and was disappointed. The view, especially at sunset, is great. The little booths around the perimeter of the venue look like cozy places to sit, however, at a networking event, no one really uses the seating. In the ladies room, the first flimsy door I tried was missing a lock. I actually feel bad complaining about the ladies bathroom because there's a full-time attendant in there. Then again, I'm not really sure why there is a full-time attendant in there when it's such a small space.
