Service is lacking (the only person who even made eye contact with me was the one who took my credit card, sad) but the gelato is really delicious and they have interesting flavors.

Still a classic, with gelato made in the laboratory in-shop with slow food ingredients. If there's a pro and a con to GROM it's that perhaps they haven't kept up with the latest trends --- there's no vegan ice cream, sprinkles or ode to cupcakes here. As far as gelato goes, the flavors may even be a bit boring comparing to what one can find in Italy these days. But quality is what this place is about and you won't find a smoother cream.

The gelato is creamy and delicious, and it's always hopping. Unfortunately that often means the furniture is a little sticky (we grabbed the only table left and it looked like someone had done an impressionist painting in chocolate gelato). I'm glad I don't live closer or I'd be in here every day.

Very good gelato, all of which is GF (including the ones with "cookies" in them!). Service was a little indifferent and the place was busy and pretty messy, but we'd go back.

Just wow. The gelato is rich and the sorbet flavorful. There are pictures all of the walls of how they source their ingredients from their farms in Italy. Why is this significant? To get good ingredients means to break away from "Big Food". I imagine locally sourced organic ingredients would be fine but organic ingredients from Italian farms certainly adds to the ambiance.
