being a resident of Stuyvesant Town my wife and I have been regular customers, she likes the breads, I like the beers and a great selection of foods. But the other night I left the store disappointed no one would take the time to cut 1/4 Lb. of cheese. It was explained to me there were cut pieces already wrapped in plastic wrap weighed and priced if every piece was heavier than what I wanted that was Too Bad on one in the store was allowed to cut 1/4 pound of Parmesan Cheese for a regular customer including the manager who refused. I feel hurt that happened as I was coming home from the gym 7 PM knowing my wife was making spaghetti and meatballs and was not able to buy 1/4 pound of cheese for our dinner in our neighborhood store.
