I always enjoy my meals from Garden Grill. They have a large and expansive menu that you would expect from an American Diner, and their prices are very fair. The service is always top notch and they are always very warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a strong 'neighborhood-vibe' and everyone is usually in high spirits.
I also order delivery from here fairly often and the food comes very quickly. (usually within 30 minutes although I do only live 3 blocks away)
A great location in the neighborhood.

Aside from the elderly woman they called 'Joe' - with the hair helmet - whom they were letting organize the donuts and buns in the window with her BARE HANDS, we enjoy the simple diner egg breakfasts regularly. Oh ya, and it sounds like a bit of an auction on the weekends with the goombah at the computer screaming the orders to the kitchen constantly. But for real, the eggs are good and it's not the huge hipster scene you'll find in the rest of the neighbourhood.

This place is a rip-off. There is a sign on the register that says they will throw a shot of espresso in your coffee for $1. I ordered a double espresso and it cost me 6 dollars. Ridiculous, and the espresso sucks.

It's a diner and serves your standard diner food. I would only go there for breakfast, because I'm not a big fan of diner dinners. But they have good specials in the morning, it's not cramped, and the servers have always been friendly.
