Firehouse

Good place for beers and a game, though you can smell stale beer on the air at times.

Not one to often comment on service, but we went here and it was horrendous, both the dated, dingey atmosphere and non-service. Went there for happy hour at 3:50, the place was empty but they said happy hour was only served at the bar. We sat there had 2 beers each. Despite being told happy hour was at the bar the bill came and was full price because happy hour didn't start until 4. Would have been nice to be given a heads up when we asked if happy hour was only available at the bar, or at least some grace since we got there 10 minutes earlier. Way to treat three of your six patrons there...funny given that earlier in the day we went to Tolani for lunch, they didn't have the item on the menu we ordered and they comp'd the entire meal. Never going back to Firehouse. Stick with places that respect your patronage.

Came to watch the UH Armed Forces Bowl. Great atmosphere! Icing on the cake; is owned by UH alumni!! Will come back everytime I'm in town!!
