Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Check in time was excessive. Car was given with empty tank, tire pressure low and low windshield fluid. Not happy, after I had made the reservation in advance.

All-in-all -- great experience, great people, great cost.

I made a reservation online. The online system is very nice, with clear information about the cars, charges, locations, etc. The Rahway location was clean and easily accessible from St. George Ave. or back roads.

Simone Clarke, management trainee, greeted me and got me my car. Although I reserved a Premium sedan (Impala or similar) Simone upgraded me for free to a small SUV (Jeep Compass). The car was practically brand new and in excellent condition, with about 950 miles on it. This was a significant upgrade for me, especially because I like Jeeps!

Simone was careful and thorough in her walk-through. As a first time renter, it took about 15 minutes from the minute I walked in until I drove off the lot. When I dropped the Jeep off, it took less than 10 minutes. The employee who took me in (I did not catch her name) was also very courteous. Both employees were very pleasant, polite, and thorough in their explanations and helpfulness. The other employees I didn't interact with, but everyone smiled and said hello!

The initially they ran my card for around $390 (cost + security deposit). I was able to return the car earlier than expected (about 24 hours exactly after I'd rented it) and the final charge was around $111. I got a few extra protection options and refueled through Enterprise -- I think it might have been closer to $75 if not for that. The final cost was lower than the cost of alternatives for the day I needed the car and the distance I needed to go.

The staff at Enterprise in Rahway were extremely helpful and courteous I waited no more than 10 minutes to get my vehicle which I was very happy with and the return of the vehicle was also easy. I highly recommend Enterprise in Rahway.

Customer service was excellent from start to finish. The representatives were knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely recommend this location to anyone seeking to rent a car with convenience and expedition.
