All around amazing experience. The service was impeccable and the food was beyond delicious. Although all of the dishes we had were above expectations, the burnt beef was definitely one of my favorites. This is the perfect place for a special dinner. It may not be a good place for all children, but our 12 year old certainly enjoyed it.

The atmosphere and environment was wonderful! The pasta was excellent and service was great. However, it is risky getting anything besides the pasta. Ordered a steak as part of our tasting menu and they added SO much salt on it that was almost impossible to eat.

The most amazing dining experience of my life thus far. Our table of 4 had the 5-course menu and we loved every bite. Actually by the time we near the end of service, we were all pretty full and couldn't finish everything. So take it easy on the earlier courses and you should be fine. Like I said, we opted for the tasting menu, however there is an a la carte but you have to ask for it.

Dining at Del Posto is an experience for itself. If you're thinking about going there for the first time, make it for dining alone and not for some other occasion. Otherwise, you will be overwhelmed and miss out. Food there pleases and satisfies every sense. It is very noticeable that there are no compromises when it comes to ingredients. The food is exceptional. Wine pairing is done with recommendations from sommelier with choice out of more than 3000 (yes, three thousand) wines. Staff is as expected when in comes to fine dining place like this; knowledgeable, professional and passionate about the work they do.

No matter you've got the money for this place. Just buy a pound of salt and eat it by the spoon! There was so much salt in my beef tartar (crudo, in italiano), after a few bites my tongue literally was stinging. Stinging. I asked myself, am I stupid? I should sit in this beautiful room with my family and destroy my tongue?
Why do insecure chefs throw salt on food? It's a way to cheat your taste buds. I said to myself, This is so salty, I could get sick from it. I politely sent it back and the ever-so-polite staff brought me a plate back with the overly-oiled beef tartar and nicely thin-sliced toasted crispy mushrooms, minus the salt.
The orechiette pasta was also too salty, but palatable. Mildly tasteful - I mean, any Italian chef could do better.
When I walked out, I was so irritated by the chef's obliviousness, I felt like going to the market and buying box of salt and pouring it onto their doorstep.
I have never written a food review, but this place is obviously resting on its pretentious laurels. Yeah, some of the other items were nice and tasty, but that heavy salt just disgusted me.
