The hotel wasn't that bad. Staff was okay, but we didn't have to interfere with them very often. The breakfast was also "okay" but not much of a variety. Everyday the same things. The room was extremely small, so I would recommend to leave big suitcases etc. at home. Our room was on the backside of the building so there was not much noise, on the other hand the rooms facing the front will be facing directly the 7 train and I am pretty sure it could get quite noisy, however after all it is a budget hotel, close to the trains, great neighborhood, 7/11 right around the hotel, D&D at the BP gas station across the street and about 15 minutes with the bus to Queens Center Mall, 15 minutes by subway to Grand Central. If you are looking for cheap, clean and small place to stay and only are in town to explore the city, than I would def. recommend this hotel.

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. There was not enough parking for our car. The management was bad they had a different person everyday at the front desk that didnt know what was going on and they were not very helpful. And it seems that they always had friends just hanging around the lobby, instead of paying attention to the customer. The breakfast was disgusting tyere is no other way to put it, and the room was smaller than an apartment kitchen. The only good thing about this place was that it was close to the city and subway. I would not recommend thar anyone stay here. It's not worth the savings. At this point if i ever come to NYC i would rather stay at a hostel instead of stepping foot in this hotel.

The room, despite being labelled a strict non-smoking room, reeked of smoke which they tried to cover up by spraying mass amounts of air freshener, but they didn't expect the air freshener to go away. Maids will wake you up at 5 in the morning by chatting loudly with reckless disregard. The bathroom door does not lock and is poorly ventilated; the tub does not have a stopper and the nonslip strips are all worn out. Good luck not getting a concussion. The hallway is littered with bags and clothes from the maids' amazing cleaning. And good luck trying to sleep because there is no noise barrier whatsoever.
Lastly, the wifi is very slow.
In short, spend your money and time elsewhere.
