Does not manage her time right!!! I've had to change vets because she was stuck in one appointment for 4 hours with the same client while I waited. I heard them talking and laughing. The cat was there for vaccines!! This is not the first time this has happened, usually the vet hospitals can be very busy and you should expect a wait but not when you are the only other client. The receptionist Alicia is very rude and disgusting. My cat was dying and I kept begging the receptionist if she would please let the vet know my cat was in critical condition. She basically puffed up her chest and snapped at me with a nasty attitude " She is busy! you're going to have to wait for her to get out I'm not going to interrupt her. Now take a seat." Turning back to her phone ignoring my presence. At this point I was very upset as I was there for my cat to make sure she was okay. I waited patiently up until the point where my cat looked very weak as every pet owner would do. I've been to many other vet hospitals and have never been spoken to with such disrespect. The end of the story is that my cat ended up dying that day on my way to the emergency room because 4 and a half hours was still not enough time for the vet to finish her lackadaisical conversation. This doctor is very neglectful and a waste of time and money. I honestly liked her a lot because she came across as a sweet woman. Lesson learned a nice vet is not necessarily a good vet. Please do not take your pets to this vet it was the worst experience of my life and it didn't have to be if the practice actually cared about their clients. My friend john even warned me he had the same issue. I should have listened.

My pet has been seeing Dr. Mollica since he was 2 years old (now he is 7.5 years). Right from the beginning, Dr. Mollica, patiently and thoroughly looked at the condition and developed great communication with me. With her direction, my pet overcame his skin and stomach allergy situation, ever since there's no other major health issue. As my pet steps into middle age with seasonal arthritis surfacing, once again with Dr. Mollica's knowledge download on the condition and the thorough treatment and instructions, the condition is being taken cared and under control. On top all the nurses and front desk staff are always cheerful and responsive. High paw for CGVG.

There is nothing wrong with the medical attention (though I've yet to actually meet or see the doctor on the website the other doctor was acceptable). It's adequate. But the front desk customer service and the overall management of the office is incredibly lacking.
Completely disorganized the last three times I went in. And every time I am told I will get a call back with test results or updates on when my dog's preventative medication will be back in stock (they are ALWAYS out of stock!) it NEVER happens. I am the one who has to follow up. And to get specific information as to when medication will be in stock is literally impossible - it's always some vague answer - "sometime next week" or "later on" followed by the old standy "someone will call you back" (and we know how that ends). If this is the way business is handled here - and this is the regard clients are given - I simply can no longer trust the information and care my dog is getting and therefore will be switching vets.
Terribly, terribly frustrating experience here. Even worse is that I live a block away and I cannot trust going here again.

Dr. Mollica is fantastic! She spends quality time with her clients (both furry and human) and answers every question. The whole team is friendly, approachable and responsive. I couldn't think of a better place to take my furbaby! This place is particularly great with small animals and exotics, a great find!!

I have two kitties, way up there in years, who, after long, healthy lives, have suddenly begun to experience serious illness. Dr. Mollica and her staff have been terrific on the medical side of things: They quickly and accurately identified the issues; spent all the time necessary to answer all of my questions and to explain everything to me in terms a layperson could understand; and laying out the options, with a fair and neutral description of all of the risks and benefits, helped guide me to treatment plans that I felt comfortable with.

Just as importantly, though, everyone in the office understands how awful it can be (even for a tough guy) when a pet becomes seriously ill. Dr. Mollica and her colleagues --- everyone, including the people who answer the phone --- are incredibly sympathetic. I guess it is no surprise that people who work in a veterinary office would love animals. But what makes all this hard stuff easier is the personal service that they provide: When I call they know who I am and who I am calling about, and everyone seems genuinely delighted when I bring my boys in for appointments or boarding.

I moved out of Carroll Gardens after a few years with CGVG. I could find vets closer to where I now live, but I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
