Mark provided us with an estimate that was competitive and on a reasonable timeline. Imparting his professional opinion, he declined to take on additional work that he did not think was necessary. The crew arrived when scheduled, completed the project and collected the agreed upon amount--all without incident. The office was exceptionally polite and responsive. It does not get any better that that.

Really good price for the amount of that hard work

They took care of two trees that were planted over 10 years ago...had to have them removed because the roots were starting to grow under my house!!! Very professional service. Definite recommendation.

I wanted to remove 3 mid-sized trees and have a large oak pruned. Mark from Carney gave me a quote that I thought was very reasonable. Mark informed me that the City requires a work permit for tree removal, so I asked him to handle that for me. The City charged a permit fee ($30 for my City) which Mark added to my bill. I marked the trees that I wanted removed with ribbon and spray paint, and the City Inspector eventually came by (while I was at work, but my backyard was accessible). The permit was approved and Carney set up my appointment.

The crew showed up EXACTLY on time. Which was completely unexpected and I didn't even get to eat my toast before I had to go out to greet them. The crew consisted of 3 guys: the tree climber/cutter and 2 "muscles" to hauled the debris to the chipper. My job took about 4 hours. The first half hour was assessment with Mark briefing the crew, then the truck with the chipper trailer was backed up my narrow driveway (without scrapping either side, very impressive), and prepping their saws and gear. The crew worked practically non-stop with one brief break when I handed out bottled water. The last hour was in pouring rain, but the up-tree work was about done by then. The last half hour was general yard cleanup. packing up their gear, and easing their truck out.

So to conclude: I am very satisfied with the work. The crew was experienced and worked efficiently. I feel the price was justified by the amount of work that I saw performed. I would recommend that you consider Carney for your job.
